in reply to: 2-3 Rumba Clave over 7 #66270
Actually, sticking with using the metronome to handle the voice counting, this version is even more flexible…
To change what the clave is over (eg if you want it over 5), just tap on the time sig of sequencer 1 and set it to what you want.
It’ll change the signature of Seq 2 also, but won’t affect the pattern, so you still hear the regular clave over the time signature you chose.
The voice counting will disappear when you do that, but if you tap the metronome button (bottom middle of sequencer 2) and choose 1/4 note, you’ll hear the voice count again.1 Preset

You can implement in a single preset like this.
Seq 1 controls what the metronome faders will do (eg where the bar line sound plays). In this case, I just added a clap for the bar sound to mark the start of each bar of 7.
I added voice counting to the rhythm in sequencer 1 as a visual aid.
I used sequencer 2 for the clave written as 2 bars of 4/4.1 Preset

Could you try again as a new post, then we can delete this one?in reply to: G.L. Stone: Accents & Rebounds #56903Great work! Thank you 🙂
in reply to: All the rudiments! #56388Hi Craig,
Tap on the Playlist Controls row (top of the bottom section) and make sure you turn on AutoAdvance, and then Play When Advancing.
Once you’ve come out of that page, you’ll need to set all of the items to play X reps, rather than Loop (otherwise item 1 will play forever)
The quickest way is to tap the bottom row of the Playlist Controls section and choose Set All Reps, then set them to whatever you want.
in reply to: Terminator time signature #55313Here’s a playlist of the terminator theme with 3 presets. One with just drums. One with voice counting, and one with konnakol.
1 PolyNome Playlist
(Requires version: 2.5.2)in reply to: “Mr. Fone Bone” Vinnie Colaiuta Vamp #54479Apple has made some big changes there.
You have to chose to download the file. You soups see a small download arrow in the top right that you can press to view the file.
Tap on the file and it should open a blank page. Then you have to tap the share button in the top right.
Then you have to scroll along the apps row and choose ‘more’
Finally you should see “copy to PolyNome” in suggested apps.I have no idea how to make this simpler. It’s something I’m looking into though.
in reply to: How to do crescendo‘s and decrescendo‘s? #54059Hey Rob,
There’s no crescendo/decrescendo function.
What you can do, is set the same sound for a few of the buttons. For example, the upper case bold R could represent f, the upper case R could represent m, and the lower case r could represent p. You can assign the same sound to each of those buttons and set the volume faders to appropriate levels.
