“PolyNome is limitless. This app is the encyclopedia of rhythm. There’s not one day that goes by where I don’t use it!”
THE ARTIST’S STORY
Sarah Thawer is a drummer based in Toronto, Canada. She freelances and plays a wide variety of genres, such as jazz, fusion, gospel, Indian and Latin to name a few. She is endorsed by Yamaha, Evans, Zildjian, Vic Firth, ProLogix, 64 Audio and Gruv Gear. She is also the brand ambassador for the company Remitbee. Follow her on social media: @SarahTDrumGuru
I use PolyNome in a variety of ways; I use it as a metronome and as an MPC to create loops and beats. I also write in different rhythms, polyrhythms, Konnakol and add melodies. I love PolyNome because you can program various instruments from percussion, to bass and keys to name a few. You also get the feeling as if you’re practising and playing music with people rather than a metronome.
