Johnny is the live and studio drummer for multi-platinum rock band Collective Soul. As an author, Johnny continues his passion for education. He released The Official Freehand Technique Book/CD. Johnny was also voted #1 Best Educational Author by Modern Drummer’s Readers Poll for his book Jungle Drum ‘N’ Bass for the Acoustic Drum Set. Johnny has conducted masterclasses and performed hundreds of clinics/workshops worldwide. His own award winning company, JOHNNY RABB DRUMSTICKS continues to grow and create innovative products. He is developing his online drum school and works with his original band NU80.  

Johnny on PolyNome

My favorite thing about the PolyNome is I can layer multiple sounds and rhythms. This works great for me when creating new practice ideas or lessons for students. It has the ability to do almost anything I can think of. The portability of being an app on my phone or iPad allows me to take it anywhere without worrying about it. I simply pull out my phone and practice or come up with new concepts.
