PolyNome comes with a powerful Konnakol tool set:
- Add individual konnakol syllables to a rhythm
- Enter multi-syllable konnakol chains with a single tap
- Common syllable chains come pre-installed
- Create and save your own custom syllable chains
- Automatically accent the first syllable in a chain
- Use PolyNome’s Shift/Randomize feature to randomize the order of chains you’ve entered to create new patterns
- Variable spacing between syllables in a chain (e.g. 2 spaces between each syllable)
- Switch between konnakol voice syllables and frame drum percussion sounds
Watch the videos below to see some of these features in action.

Disclaimer
The Konnakol options in PolyNome are not strict konnakol. However, most commonly used konnakol syllables are included, along with others from outside of strict konnakol.
The voice samples, and “Ferrarhythm” samples, are provided by André Ferrari. You can find out more about André on his website – ferrarhythm.com
