What’s Coming In The Next Version of PolyNome?

This page is dedicated to the features I’m working on in upcoming versions of PolyNome.

When the new version goes live those features will be moved to the What’s New page.

Got things you want to see in future versions of PolyNome? Leave a comment to let me know.

Thanks for using PolyNome!

    Future feature ideas for consideration:
    METRO
    – like the flam, add audio samples for other unique rudiment sticking (eg. ruff)

    PRACTICE
    – lesson/achievement mode – similar to yousician, create a drum training/lesson plan based on an achievement model, including competing with friends and/or leader board
    – accuracy tests – via USB connect e-kit to iPad, play along with beat and get results. And based on accuracy, app can select BPM range that continues to push user to faster BPM. Also app can detect which limbs are having the most trouble and suggest other practice ideas to improve.

    OTHER
    – transcribing – import an audio sample, the app attempts to detect BPM and instrument placement 70-80% of the way, user does the rest.

PRACTICE – random from playlist – create a playlist of multiple presets, tell the app the total time you want to practice (< total time of playlist), the app randomly selects from the pool of presets in the playlist to the time limit. This would be super helpful as I like to warm up with previous lessons I've learned, before focusing on a new lesson.

      Hey Scott,
Something like this is on my todo list. It would basically be like a shuffle option on the Playlist.

BACKUP – it would be cool if your instrument/sound favorites also backed up
